At Littleye, we strive to provide excellent service and ensure customer satisfaction. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued for our wedding photo gallery services. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

2. Service Fees

Our Service operates on a one-time payment model based on the selected pricing tier (Small Events or Big Events). Payment is required before access to the Service is granted. All fees are stated in US dollars and are processed securely through our payment processor.

3. Refund Eligibility

3.1 Full Refunds

Full refunds may be issued in the following circumstances:

  • Service Failure: If the Service is fundamentally unavailable or fails to function as described due to technical issues on our end, and the issue cannot be resolved within 48 hours of your first report
  • Duplicate Payment: If you were accidentally charged twice for the same service
  • Unauthorized Transaction: If the payment was made without your authorization
  • Cancellation Before Service Use: If you cancel your order before uploading any photos or using any Service features, within 7 days of purchase

3.2 Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:

  • Billing Error: If you were charged incorrectly for a different pricing tier
  • Service Interruption: If the Service experiences significant downtime or functionality issues after you have started using it, we may offer a prorated refund based on the remaining unused portion of your service period

3.3 Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will generally not be issued in the following situations:

  • If you have already uploaded photos and used the face recognition indexing features
  • If you are dissatisfied with face recognition accuracy (as results may vary)
  • If you change your mind about the service after purchase
  • If you violate our Terms of Service and your account is terminated
  • If the event date changes or is cancelled (our service is for photo organization, not event hosting)
  • If you fail to provide necessary information or access required for the Service

4. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us at contact@littleye.co with the subject line "Refund Request"
  2. Include your account email address and order/payment details
  3. Provide a clear explanation of why you are requesting a refund
  4. Include any relevant documentation or screenshots if applicable

We will review your request and respond within 5-7 business days. We may ask for additional information to process your request.

5. Processing Time

Once a refund is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed within 10-14 business days
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase
  • The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment provider (typically 5-10 business days for credit cards)
  • If the original payment method is no longer available, please contact us to arrange an alternative refund method

6. Chargebacks

If you file a chargeback or dispute with your payment provider instead of contacting us first, we reserve the right to dispute the chargeback and provide evidence of service delivery. We encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any issues before initiating a chargeback, as we are often able to resolve concerns more quickly.

7. Service Credits

In some cases, instead of a refund, we may offer service credits or extensions. These can be applied to future use of our Service or for additional features. Service credits are non-transferable and non-refundable.

8. Right to Refuse

We reserve the right to refuse refund requests that do not meet the criteria outlined in this policy, are fraudulent, or abuse our refund process. We also reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time, with changes taking effect immediately upon posting.

9. Third-Party Fees

Please note that transaction fees charged by payment processors are typically non-refundable. If a refund is issued, we may deduct any applicable transaction fees from the refund amount, or the fees may be deducted by the payment processor.

10. Cancellation vs. Refund

Cancelling your account or service does not automatically entitle you to a refund. Refunds are subject to the eligibility criteria outlined in this policy. If you cancel your account, you will lose access to the Service immediately, but you will not receive a refund unless you meet the refund eligibility requirements.

We understand that special circumstances may arise. If you believe your situation warrants a refund that doesn't clearly fit within the above criteria, please contact us with a detailed explanation. We will review each case individually and may make exceptions at our discretion.
